My advice to you is: if you already have a Google Analytics code on the site, then just set goals in analytics and track traffic and conversions to specific Facebook ads with maximum accuracy.

In this article, we will discuss step by step with you how to set up Google Analytics goals to track Facebook ad conversions.
What are goals in Google Analytics?

Google Analytics is a powerful shopify website design  tracking tool where people come from on your website. Suppose you want to go further and track all the actions people make on your site. These actions may include:

    Subscription by email
    Viewing certain pages
    Adding goods to the cart
    Purchase
    Click on certain banners, etc.

Google allows you to screw all these targets to the budget that you have spent ads on Facebook to track the return on investment (ROI) of your advertising campaigns.
Setting a goal in Google



To get started with the goals, go to your Google Analytics account and click on the Administrator tab.

When you go to the admin panel, you will see 3 columns: Ac., Resource, Performance. Choose your site for which you want to track targets in the second column (resource).

In 3 column (sure) click on the Object tab.

Next, click on the +tel button.

The image below shows what you will see when you press the +else button. You need to go down, select Your Own, and click on the Continue button.

Next, you have to tell Google Analytics that you want to track. For example, I set up Facebook ads for some kind of landing. And the sale process is as follows: Traffic-Lending Application.

I choose the Type of tracking – The landing page because I want to show Google that when a person left a request and got to the page, for example: “Thank you! Our manager will contact you,” – the target action (conversion) is committed.

Therefore, I write the Name of the goal (for example: “I left an application” or “Selling”) and choose the Target Page. After that, I press the button to continue.
